How it Works

A lasting and personal gift, your masterpiece captures the elegance, beauty and magic of the day and will keep it fresh for generations. Guests will enjoy the rare opportunity to observe a work of art as it is created.

Email me with your event date and any ideas or special requests. I'll email an agreement back to you. I'm happy to discuss all details in advance and will work with you to create your dream painting.

Sign and return with payment via bank transfer, paypal or other money transfer system agreed upon.

If local, I will visit the venue in advance to review the site. 

The Day of the Event:

The artist and my assistant arrive at your venue two or three hours early on the day of the event, set up the easel and the painting begins. This allows the artist to paint participants and guests as they "walk into the painting". Guests are welcome to approach me and chat as I paint. Reference photos are taken during the process to aid in the finish work.

Site Requirements: 
A small space to work in approximately 8' x 8'.
Access to electricity for my easel light
Water Supply
A drink and snack for myself and assistant.

The majority of the painting is often completed "ala prima". Final details and adjustments are completed in the studio. Within 3-6 weeks, the work is finished, framed if requested (additional) and sent or delivered.

I have artistic authority over the process and ask for latitude in my artistic discretion. However, if you would like certain scenes or people included, I'm dedicated to satisfying your vision. Additional fees may apply.

The Wedding Painter is available to travel to your destination anywhere in the world. Travel costs beyond 60 miles are additional and must be paid in advance. Accommodations, if necessary are the responsibility of the patron. Confirmation is required.
